Job
This position is responsible for processing customer orders, configuring data and internet equipment. Configuring Cisco and Juniper routers, coordinating service turn-up efforts and satisfying customer service needs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
~Coordinate testing for service turn-up with transport provisioning and customer.

~Responsibilities include but are not limited to provisioning, testing, and activation of data, and internet services.

~Configuration of CISCO and Juniper routers and switches, and operation of appropriate test equipment.

~Interact with customer/engineers and/or vendors to ensure service quality.
Participate in the service delivery of TWTC and internet services.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
~(CCNA) Cisco Certified Network Analyst required

~A minimum of 1 year telecommunications experience

~Prior experience with internet and/or switched services

~Basic knowledge of data services

~Familiar with IP and Ethernet based telecommunications services

~Familiar with TCP/IP Protocol Suite

~Working knowledge of TDM based telephony transport services (DS1, DS3, STS-1, OC-1, OC-3, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
~Functional knowledge of personal computers

~Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

~Strong awareness of network and customer information security

~Ability to coordinate, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks

~Excellent written and oral communication skills

~Outstanding customer service skills


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
~May require sitting for extended periods of time

~Must be able to operate a computer keyboard and read a computer monitor

~Must be able to communicate in person, by telephone, and through written
correspondence

~Requires manual dexterity skills, standing, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
