Assist in the management of data content process and deploy approved databases to target product sites. Communicate all activities to Program Managers, Publishing and Information Services. Validate data content from OEM before loading into data repository. Position replaces functions currently performed by developers. This position requires off hours work.Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule requests for data updates between Program Management, Publishing and Information Services
Update and deploy data content under the supervision of the Internet Content MangerAnalyze data content for correctness for released products
Report errors in data content or format
Correct, process and approve data for input into the data repository
Participate in the re-engineering of the data handling process
Become the data content point person, removing the dependency on software developers to perform these tasksEssential Functions

Identify ways to move the data quality control process to the beginning of the publishing process *
Write and maintain the requirements for the publishing repository *
Communicate between the Program Manager, Publishing, Development and Information Services *
Establish, measure, set and achieve target benchmarks for data quality, timeliness of product releases and cost of data handling *
Perform deployment of data and software releases to staging and production web sites *
Validate incoming OEM data for correctness in content and format for load into repository *
Communicate errors to Professional Services and Development
Write reports that includes error reports and data progress reportsTroubleshoot data issues and resolveReview issues with Professional Services, Publishing, Information Services
Scheduling Activities:
Coordinate joint activities with Professional Services and Information Services *
Assist in planning software deployment activities
Identify activities for which contingency planning is needed *
Adapt activities to internally / externally applied schedule slipsSpan of Control:
Keeps abreast of activities internal and external to department
Effectively manage/handle job interruptions by suspending and resuming activities as priorities change

REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications
Must have proven communications skills
Technical experience with data content toolsExperience in troubleshooting data issues
Committed to quality output
3 or more years of data analyst / publishing experience
Able to handle multiple tasks
Work as a team member or individually as required
Overtime and weekends as required
Excellent work record, re: tardiness, absenteeism
Experience with database(s) (Oracle, SQL, Access)
Working knowledge of software environment
Knowledge Microsoft Windows environment and office tools
