Infrastructure Analyst

Monitors bank environment to proactively identify, investigate and coordinate resolution of all alerts. Reviews, tests, and implements security updates to maintain standardized level of infrastructure protection. Coordinates with and supports other IS team members to facilitate technology projects and resolve production issues.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS• Meets all specific annual goals based on department and corporate goals and objectives.• Ensures corporate infrastructure is performing at expected service levels.• Provides day to day management and support of the bank infrastructure monitoring tool(s).• Proactively identifies risks and pending issues through various monitoring tool(s).
• Implements and verifies approved changes.• Through continued monitoring, ensures bank systems have the appropriate security patches.• Monitors and stays current with new vulnerabilities and security alerts.• Evaluates, tests, and documents new vulnerabilities and applicability of new patches.• Architects deployment of patches to the infrastructure, and meets specified implementation timeframes.• Coordinates with other IS team members involved in the patch management process, and verifies success of distributions.• Participates in CERT activities as required.• Manages the catalogue and versioning of corporate desktop and server images.• Administers and supports Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) and other available de-partment tools.• Serves as a liaison between Infrastructure Technology teams to understand and document infra-structure changes.• Assists in engineering of new product deployments and software upgrades for the enterprise, utilizing available tools.• Assists IS teams in new technology projects as directed.• Assists in maintaining accurate and current department documentation.• Consistently renders exceptional customer service internally and externally.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have:• Bachelors Degree (Business or Technical) or equivalent work experience.
• MCSE/CNE certification preferred. A+, NET+, MCP or equivalent certification required.• Minimum 4 years of technical support expertise PC or server related in a large corporate environment.• Experience with software packaging and deployment applications required. Experience with Compaq/HP servers and Cisco equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.• Experience with Microsoft SMS and enterprise software deployment methodologies.• Knowledge of software architecture and packaging (i.e. MSI, InstallShield, Wise).If you’d like to be a part of an exciting future with BankAtlantic, apply today!
