Information Technology (IT) Project Manager

KPMG LLP provides audit, tax and advisory services to a broad range of clients. We are currently seeking an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to join us in our Montvale office.
Responsibilities:
Provide integration services focused primarily on application performance testing

Evaluate the responsiveness of applications from an end user perspective as they are artificially subjected to load and other stresses to simulate how the applications will perform in the production environment

Provide senior application performance testing using their experience to mentor other members of the team to make the overall group stronger

Provide high technical support using excellent communication skills

Integrate with project teams to understand overall project goals and deliverables

Interface with IT application developers and/or business unit owners to understand application operation so that appropriate testing models can be scripted and executed

Collect, document and analyze application testing requirements including appropriate infrastructure setup

Manage customer expectations in regards to project timelines and milestones as well as test results

Negotiate deliverables and due dates

Communicate project status and prepare reports and presentations as appropriate

Document and/or review test results. Communicate these to management, the project team and customers

Translate and communicate testing issues and developments for non technical stakeholders – business units, executives, etc.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

Eight years of experience managing infrastructure projects

In-depth experience in performance application testing and an understanding of infrastructure components and application design

Full project life cycle experience including project management capabilities

Knowledge of various Windows Performance Monitor counters and recommended values

Experience with creating documentation, especially documenting test results

Previous experience in application testing

High level of knowledge and experience with application performance testing

Able to develop performance scripts for use with Mercury LoadRunner, KPMG’s application performance testing tool

Able to analyze results of performance testing and translate these into tangible findings for the application owners as well as suggest performance enhancements

Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills

Able to multitask and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives
