Information Technology Administrator

ATI ProCharger, based in Lenexa, Kansas, is the world’s leading forced induction technology company. Under the ProCharger brand name, ATI manufactures product applications for automotive, motorcycle, marine, and industrial markets, which are distributed through a worldwide dealer network.

Job Duties:
General Maintenance of four (4) Windows 2003 servers and 45 users, including
o User support and administration
o Configuration of all server related applications and hardware
o Monitoring of network traffic and attached hardware
o Proactively plans and maintains all company technological systems
• Good documentation skills
• Maintains log of implementations, changes, installations, etc.
• Performs “preventative maintenance”

Ensuring server and client backups are being completed and maintained according to schedule

Assisting users with computer software and hardware
o Solving any problems related to either software or hardware
o Answering questions regarding how to use specific software
o Setting up new workstations and user access for new hires as needed

Enhance functionality/value of Enterprise Software (IQMS)
o Crystal reporting
o User support
o New releases
o Custom programming requests
o E-commerce

Other Information:
• MS Windows users – approximately 35
• Mac users – 8, peer-to-peer network
• Jan 05 install of Windows 2003 servers
REQUIREMENTS
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science preferred
• 2-4 years prior experience in network administration
• Experience with MS Windows Server 2003, Windows XP
• TCP/IP networking knowledge, including managed switches
• PC knowledge – hardware and software
• Experience with Crystal report writing or similar programming experience
• Website hosting and administration knowledge
• Experience with IQMS EPR software, e-commerce, wireless networking beneficial
• Experience with Apple OS X a plus
• Knowledge/ability to support printers and faxes
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Automotive or motorsports enthusist a plus
