Implementation Analyst (Meditech Clinical Systems)

*Position eligible for Telecommuting**80% travel.There are four positions available.Functions as a team leader or team member to implement, upgrade and support application systems.Assures that all systems are fully tested before implementation into production.Troubleshoots and resolves reported system and application problems in the test and production environments.Documents and describes process and procedures relating to current and future systems environments.Trains and educates users on system functionality and capability.1. Completes assigned tasks per defined project scope, timelines, and budgets for implementations. Works to prescribed methodologies for all project implementations. May work on multiple implementations at any given time2. Tracks issues and resolutions throughout process while adhering to prescribed escalation procedures.3. Participates in coordinating the transition from implementation to production and application support4. Develops training materials and trains users on system functionality.5. Develops reports, scripts and forms according to required specifications.6. Documents business and system processes and procedures through the use of industry standard process flow and flow charting techniques.7. Develops detailed interface and program specifications.
REQUIREMENTS
Five years experience working in an IT systems and applications environment in a large, multi-facility healthcare system.Specific knowledge of clinical systems required.In lieu of five years experience, must have significant demonstrated implementation experience of various Meditech clinical modules.Must have experience in at least two of the following areas: Operating Room, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology and Community Wide Scheduling.Must have intermediate to expert NPR report writing skills.Associate’s degree in business, related IT field or related clinical field.Five years application analyst experience in a healthcare environment.Seven years experience in an IT analyst role may be substituted for the above requirement.Three years relevant clinical experience may be substituted for three years in an IT analyst role.Meditech positions require experience implementing and supporting one or more
Meditech Clinical modules.Familiarity with project management principles.Experience with supporting and/or developing IT systems and applications.
Knowledge of system and application development.Proven organizational skills and time management.Advanced problem-solving ability.Strong vendor negotiation skills.Financial management skills.Experience with Crystal and NPR development tools.Knowledge of industry standard practices in IT support function.Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.Benefits
