The Health Plan Practice is dedicated to helping health insurers build strategies and design insurance products that balance escalating treatment costs with the rise of health care consumerism. Whether it's helping health plans get closer to their customers, comply with legislation, add new products and services, or completely reinvent their way of doing business, we serve as a valued partner in bringing organizations into the future.
 
We are currently seeking Technology Integration Senior Manager level candidates with current experience managing complex, large scale projects for major health plan/ managed care organizations.  Providing leadership in our Health Plan practice involves:
 
- Engagement Management:  managing
engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defines deliverable content, ensures buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client
- Business Development: develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizes and leads pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process, contributes to proposal pricing strategy
- Practice Development & Eminence: development of solutions and methodologies, development of "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals
- People Development: performs role of counselor and coach, provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.Required Experience and Attributes:
- 10+ years in consulting services, including at least 3 years of large project/program management experience.
We welcome a combination of "big 4 type" consulting services and client side experience. 
- Majority of engagement experience focused on the Managed Care / Health Plan segment with expertise in areas like; claim systems, billing systems, customer relationship management/service, product development, Medical Management, etc.
- Candidates should have significant experience managing complex technology engagements
- Ideal candidates will have experience translating business requirements into technology requirements, creating architectural documentation and plan, and then providing leadership of the implementation of these plans
- Experience with IT Strategic Assessments, Technology and implementation planning/costing, Technology Selection and Vendor Management
- Areas of technical expertise may vary, but should have deep enterprise architecture skills spanning areas such as; Data Architecture, Integration Arch, Messaging, Security, Content Management, Portal Frameworks,
Personalization, Commerce Technology, Network Architecture, etc.
- Should be considered a knowledge leader in Health Care within your firm or the industry segment at large
- Must have experience managing client relationships and contributing towards business development activities
- Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (including offshore development teams)
- Strong communications experience should include presentation/proposal generation, as well as an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization
- Stellar work ethic
- Ability to accommodate client travel up to 100%
- BS Degree required, MBA or Advanced degree strongly desired at this level
- Strong desire to be a partner in a top tier services firm
