IT Team Leader

Who we are: MSCW is an award winning design firm based in Orlando, FL, specializing in: planning, civil engineering, transportation and roadway design, landscape architecture, environmental services, and economics. Our projects range from large-scale master planning to detailed site specific design. We are seeking an IT Team Leader to provide oversight and long-term strategic planning for our business infrastructure.



QUALIFICATIONS: Must have 10+ years experience as an IT leader. Strong business orientation; broad experience in professional services industry managing IT or related activities (i.e., consulting or vendor in our industry) preferred. MBA strongly recommended. Microsoft Certified System Engineer 2000 or 2003 (MCSE), and Cisco and IT Security certifications a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and direct the strategic long-term goals, policies and procedures for MSCW’s information technology team.

Determine long-term systems needs and hardware/software acquisitions to accomplish MSCW’s business objectives including regionalization of services throughout the southeast.

Analyze the needs of functional departments (i.e., accounting, marketing, human resources, etc.) and establish priorities for feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company’s information management systems.

Responsible for business technology planning process and coordinating with functional departments involved to collect system requirements, assess solutions, and implement tools.

Responsible for management of systems’ integration and new software implementation processes for entire organization.
Accountable for directing the information and data integrity of the firm and its groups and for all information management functions, including all data centers, technical service centers, production scheduling functions, help desks, communication networks, (voice and data), computer program development, and computer systems maintenance and operations

Responsible for ‘make’ versus ‘buy’ decisions relative to outsourcing versus in-house provisioning of IT services and skills

Responsible for corporate technology security and data integrity including strategies and best practices for intrusion detection, data loss prevention and disaster recovery/business continuity procedures

Interface with CEO/COO on improvements and upgrades to hardware/software, corporate infrastructure, IT policies and procedures and long-term technology visioning for MSCW

Oversee the existing IT systems and help desk personnel, training and professional advancement for IT personnel and systematic performance reviews in relationship to negotiated SLA agreements and procedures

Key member of strategic planning team.
