IT Systems Analyst

Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: *Leads and coaches the business and the internal IT team in ad hoc analysis to problem solve complex production processing and business issues.
Functions as the Production Support Leader to ensure daily batch and online processing is complete, on time and that the mainframe is operating within performance standards
As Production support leader, takes ownership of the workload to analyze and recommend changes and enhancements.
Responsible for assessing the deliverables of new development to determine the impact on the existing production workload and recommends solutions.
Represents IFS in Disaster Recovery Planning with the IFS data center services provider.
Coordinates all production support activities with the IFS data center services provider.
Act as project manager to deliver technology infrastructure projects.
Responsible for documenting IT standards and procedures to ensure daily processes are in compliance with SOX and SAS 70 audit standards.
Experienced in gathering and preparing well-written specifications and requirements.
Ensures prioritized work is complete while balancing priorities and conflicting demands.
Effectively communicates with business partners and IT leaders resolving conflicts, progress reporting and issue identification.
Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of IT services.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *3-5 Years experience in Information Technology financial systems.
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, organization and leadership skills.
Ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels.
Strong cross-functional team player working across matrixed organization.
Strong SQL Background.
Strong business acumen and successful track record in aligning with customers.
Experienced in the application of six sigma process and rigor.
Strategic perspective with demonstrated accountability and execution.
Strong Service Orientation.
Strong technical aptitude.Desired: *Leasing Industry experience.
Familiarity with GE presentation style/approach.
Working knowledge of Sarbannes Oxley requirements
Large-scale mainframe based systems experience.
Functional expertise in supporting collections, invoicing, accounting, sales/property tax and customer service.
Experience in leading in the delivery of technology services.
