The Coordinator supports the Project Management Office by managing the Portfolio Management tool (Planview), and analyzing and preparing resource and project data that support the Project Governance process. Supports to department IT Directors and Project Managers by providing detailed project labor analysis that will help them in making resource decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Manages and maintains the Portfolio Management tool, ensures all IT personnel have input their project and support time on a weekly basis. Produces weekly time monitoring reports and analysis for director distributions. Manages and analyzes the IT project portfolio to ensure the PMO and the IT organization is aware of all new projects coming into the IT pipeline. Become the super user/administrator of the Portfolio Management tool. Support the internal and external governance process, producing a weekly and monthly project requests report allowing the internal governance and the IT Governance team to make the appropriate project and resource value decisions. Work with IT directors to produce the monthly IT SLA (Measures of Success) and distribute to the CIO and business leaders. Conducts training for new hires to introduce them to the PMO, the processes and methodologies. Collect IT project status reports and maintains them in a central repository. Creates monthly project status dashboards and distributes to internal and external management. Assists in managing all aspects of project life cycle. Facilitates different types of PMO team meetings through meeting preparation, use of agendas and the ability to keep meetings on track. Foster relationships with project stakeholders, managers at various levels, third parties and project resources. Interacts professionally with all levels of the organization, discusses problems, resolves conflicts, and attains satisfactory solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree in IT, project management, or business administration required.
Strong interpersonal skills-ability to work with all levels within the organization.
Strong analytical skills.
Good facilitation skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Access, SEQUAL and experience using MSProject or equivalent project management software.
Basic understanding of any Portfolio Management Tool (Planview preferred) is a plus.
Basic understanding of a Project Management Office is highly desired. Minimum 1 year experience in IT or business.
Ability to manage workload on high stress projects of varying complexity and timing constraints.
