IT Organization Development Specialist, 8521

BASIC FUNCTION:Lead IT Internship Program in support of organization’s entry-level hiring needs. Work directly with IT management and employees to determine intern needs, recommend and implement solutions. As member of the IT Organization Development Team, promote employee and organization development. Work with IT people and team members to increase employee and organization effectiveness.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1.Lead all aspects of IT Internship Program.
2.Recruit internship candidates via job fairs, student association involvement, word-of-mouth recruiting, etc.
3.Partner with universities to secure best possible internship candidates.
4.Interact with IT management to determine internship and entry-level hiring needs.
5.Deliver all internship reporting.
6.Perform entry-level recruiting on ad hoc basis.
7.Assist with OD initiatives that impact employee retention, development, satisfaction, and effectiveness.
8.Assist with the coordination, development and promotion of learning.
9.Analyze and report on assessment data.
10.Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
11.Document processes and prepare recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
REQUIREMENTSBachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or a related discipline with at least 4 years work experience in recruiting (preferably in an IT environment). Requires strong verbal and written communications skills including the ability to communicate concepts and solutions to a varied audience. Requires a “get it done” attitude, ability to work on and complete diverse projects. Requires the ability to take ownership of a project/task and use strong skills in customer service and decision making to successfully complete them.DESIRED SKILLS:
