The individual in this role will ensure a streamlined operation of our IT department including corporate and branch operations. The IT Manager will be charged with planning, coordinating, directing and designing IT related activities, while working closely with decision makers companywide to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the business communications, office systems, interplant connectivity, etc. The IT Manager must have a strong background in manufacturing solutions and systems designed to support business goals.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or a related field, along with six to eight years of experience in a related role, including managing processing functions, operations and development of IT resources. Knowledge of information systems, networking, programming, hardware installation, software evaluation and systems maintenance is essential. The individual we seek will be self-motivated with strong management, leadership, technical, interpersonal, communication and reasoning skills, as well as a good attention to detail and the ability to keep abreast of new and emerging technologies. Some travel may be required.
