IT/MIS Manager

The IT/MIS Manager will lead a group of technology personnel that configure, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and provide desktop support in an entertainment venue with a diverse array of information systems. This position reports to the VP of Finance.

The Senior Manager will provide technical oversight and management for the IT department that supports the following functional areas: wagering operations, finance/accounting, marketing, event ticketing, food and beverage and the executive/administrative staff that sustain and manage these areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Manages, directs and delegates the resources/assets of the IT department.
•Participate in support activities to administer the information systems critical for successful day-to-day operations.
•Coordinate, document and report to site executives on all maintenance, monitoring, problem management and project activities for MIS resources/assets throughout the site.
•Review, edit and author the controls and procedures of the IT department to meet regulatory requirements.
•Confer with project personnel (inter/intra department) to provide technical advice/recommendations for hardware and software acquisitions and problem resolution while maintaining corporate standards.
•Gather, review/report and archive evidence that corporate IT policy and procedures are enforced at the site level.
•Recruit and assign IT personnel
•Serve as primary liaison to corporate IT and the WAN network and application administrators.
•Manage technology vendors specific to the site.

REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum Five (5) years of experience in casino/wagering IT/MIS position
•Minimum Nine (9) years of IT/MIS experience with progressive responsibility
•Minimum Four (4) years of experience organizing, managing and directing the daily activities of an IT/MIS department and staff.
•Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
•Experience in Network Management, Security, Planning and Implementation
•Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional tams.
•Demonstrate ability to implement, drive and track projects
•Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity.
