IT Analyst IV
The Medical Informatics and Telemedicine Program at the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Public Health has an opportunity for an IT Analyst who would like to apply their knowledge toward the development and implementation of medical informatics and clinical information systems. The applicant should possess strong technical and programming skills, including demonstrable experience with t-SQL, VB 6, VB.NET, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, XML, XSL, HTML and HL7. The applicant must have experience with programming for Microsoft's Active Directory, SQL Server 2000 and IIS. In addition, the applicant must be self-motivated, capable of multitasking, and possess the ability to work with a team on large complex projects, the ability to address the technical and organizational challenges of project management, and the ability to quickly develop prototype applications, data repositories, and data analysis tools with attention to detail and scalability.
