The Team Leader is accountable for providing strategic and operational leadership to the Solutions Delivery Logistics Team within the IS Organization. The team size for this position is six direct reports. This leadership position plays a key role in the IS organization’s ability to deliver business value by leveraging resources (People, Process and Technology) to benefit all of Owens Corning. The Team Leader is responsible for fostering the growth and development of all the team members, sustaining core competency levels, and continuously elevating the team's performance.The Team Leader is responsible for delivering technology solutions that lower costs and create value for our customers and suppliers. Technical and leadership skills are essential for success as direction, guidance, and coaching are required in both areas. This position is responsible for eliminating ineffective processes by standardizing and optimizing all work. The successful candidate is accountable for ensuring that adherence to the principles of safety is unconditional, and that every member takes responsibility for their individual safety and the safety of other employees.Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the IS teams and business process leaders to execute supply chain and technology projects that drive business results.
Participate in the assignment of appropriate resources to ensure successful operation of systems and services.
Responsible for leveraging external partners to meet the resource needs of the organization including assessing external talent, setting expectations, and assuring appropriate knowledge transfer to ensure success.
Participate in the budget management process for the Solutions Delivery Logistics Team.
Responsible for the development and the performance of team members to achieve organizational goals and meet individual growth plans.
Take accountability for quality assurance and consistent use of standard processes for the purposes of implementing, upgrading, or retiring production information systems.
Manage the transition of projects from development to ongoing operations through communication, documentation, and adherence to project management principles.
Represent IS leadership when interacting with business units on business and technology integration initiatives.
Provide a leadership role for team meetings, including setting agendas and facilitation.
Develop and continuously improve standard operating procedures for the team.

Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited college or university is required.
Direct people leadership experience preferred.
Possess 3-5 years experience in business logistics or supply chain operations.
Experience leading teams across multiple sites and projects.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or related certification is preferred.
Proven ability to drive new opportunities to completion, builds successful partnerships, effectively communicate to staff at all levels, and manage organization change to completion.
Ability to mentor and coach people with a variety of job experience and skill levels.
Experience implementing and operating process solutions based in SAP technology solutions is preferred.Competencies Required
