We have the following opportunity in our BLOOMINGTON, MN location.

Lead a technical team on projects of a complex nature with duties of instructing, directing, and overseeing/leading the technical work of other team members. Provide team members with full technical knowledge of all necessary phases of the project. Serve as a point of escalation for team members issues requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve and ensure timely resolution. Provide on-the-job training for new or existing team members. Work collaboratively with others to ensure that best-practices are shared. Provide customer service to business partners. Assist management with enforcing application standards to ensure consistency. Responsible for quality assurance review of the project and the evaluation and documentation of team procedures.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience with application programming or related technical area, preferably 1-2 years at ESI
• Thorough knowledge of programming concepts, design, procedures and practices
• Experience/Knowledge of standards, structures and compliance to application standards and methodology
• Experience in mainframe and/or multi-level distributed environment
• Adaptability and willingness to learn
• Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
• Ability to motivate and provide leadership and mentoring to employees and create a culture that supports high employee morale
• Strong customer service focus
• Project management experience and proven ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple deadlines very helpful
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
• Extremely detail oriented
• Excellent oral and written facilitation and communication skills including the ability to enforce standards and methodology
• Familiarity with health care or PBM industry very helpful
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines, limited travel and on call rotation

Education:
• College degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
