Responsibilities:
Assure quality within the software and/or mainframe systems by developing and implementing effective test plans and by assuring the business logic is appropriate and maintained for the client.
Plan, write, develop, execute& verify test plans.
Verify results and meet business needs.
Test production implementation.
Participate in production implementation verification and accountable for validating particular enhancement(s).
Establish and maintain test plans, test environment, test data and test tools.
Plan, document, evaluate and track program testing results to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
Work with users, systems analysts, designers and programmers to create/analyze various required project documents. (Senior Quality Assurance person would probably be involved for guidance and to ensure accuracy & consistency).
Participate in walk-through, inspections, reviews and user group meeting.
Comply with the standards in the software life cycle and follows the strategies, plans and procedures.
Implement the product into production as needed.
Provide customer support and maintain production software as needed.
Review user documentation & training materials for accuracy.
Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes, and enhancements, which may impact data, workflow and/or functionality.


Job Requirements:

Requirements:
Relevant Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of technical systems experience.
Project management experience helpful.
Proficient in application of techniques, use of testing tools, development and implementation of testing plans.
Know testing methodology, quality principles and audit requirements.
Specific systems require proficient knowledge of business environment and its associated systems processing.
Proficient in integration testing and coordinating with supporting systems.
Establish goals and objectives in concert with manager.
Orientation toward managing systems and business processes.
Ability to effectively multi - task several jobs.
Ability to raise issues and seek support for resolution.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
