United Telephone, a competitive and growing telecommunications company located in Langdon, ND, has an opening for an Information Services Technician.
Job Responsibilities Duties will include: Day to day administration and maintenance of our corporate network, including infrastructure, hardware, and software; Tier two customer support for broadband Internet and advanced data services; Day to day maintenance of Internet systems; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent customer and interpersonal skills
BS or AAS in computer science, information technology, or related degree. Previous relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
NT/2000/2003 and Linux server administration experience, including AD or LDAP
TCP/IP design and administration experience and a thorough working knowledge of TCP/IP
Computer and network hardware or electronics experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Candidate with industry certifications or prior experience in telecommunications will be preferred.
