UCG's Shared Services division is seeking an additional Network Administrator for our headquarters located across from White Flint Mall in Rockville, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

Primary focus will be to administer and support our web server environment. UCG is one of the largest business-to-business publishers in the country and has over one hundred individual web sites. The Administrator will manage a predominantly Microsoft IIS 6.0 environment, although experience and understanding of all types of web server environments is a plus. The Administrator will troubleshoot .NET applications, connectivity to Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2 databases, web server/application performance, and web application server issues (ColdFusion/JRun). The Administrator will also serve as a liaison with DBAs and systems engineers to resolve technical issues.


REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Two years hands-on experience in administration of Windows servers and web sites.
Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems including services such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and TCP/IP are essential.
Experience with Microsoft Application Center and F5 load-balancers is a plus.
