Hyperion Planning Consultant

BravoTECH is currently hiring senior consultant level personnel. The senior consultant is responsible for supporting our business activities through active work on client engagements as well as participation in business development. These activities include implementation of dynamic software solutions using proven implementation methodologies for the Hyperion Planning tools and/or reporting suite of financial products. Senior consultants must display expertise in a defined area of Business Performance Management with an emphasis on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.

Essential Functions:
• Implementation experience with Hyperion Essbase version 7.x or higher
• Hands on design, configuration and delivery experience implementing Hyperion Planning v3.x.
• Product knowledge with at least one of the following OLAP tools: Cognos PowerPlay and/or Microsoft Analysis Services a plus
• Data acquisition or ETL skills with IBM – Ascential DataStage or other major ETL tools a plus
• Solid understanding of multidimensional database architecture
• Business process modeling and requirements definition
• Ability to create dynamic solutions based on complex customer planning and forecasting requirements
• Strong functional background of budgeting and planning processes
• Strong star schema and relational data modeling skills
• Database design and development skills with Microsoft and/or Oracle
• Experience with managing or interfacing data warehouse technologies with BI software applications.
• Experience with major reporting technologies from Microsoft, Cognos, Oracle, Business Objects a plus.
• Enterprise Performance Management assessment experience
• Candidate must be comfortable working in a project environment and interacting with various levels of individuals at the customer site, including Budgeting and Planning Managers and Financial Analysts.
• Ability to implement customized financial models designed to meet the client's requirements
• Ability to perform startup services for new customers, including building prototypes and leading scoping discussions

• Understanding of other Hyperion Reporting products such as Hyperion Reports, Hyperion Analyzer
• Big 4 consulting experience would be an asset
• Other Hyperion tools, Essbase, Hyperion Application Link
• Good PL/SQL skills
• Other analytic or reporting tools
• Advanced or Graduate Degree a plus
