Help Desk Dispatcher

Purpose: Our client, an International Organization, is seeking a Help Desk Dispatcher. Under the supervision of the Help Desk Manager, this candidate will be responsible for first line support responsibilities including:

-Answering the help desk phone lines and monitoring voicemail in a most friendly, professional and timely manner.

-Understanding Helpdesk workflow and processes in order to interact with client effectively.

-Monitoring of the group mail-in database and logging of all e-mail requests and complaints into the Helpdesk Database system.

-Logging and classifying service calls in the Help Desk database system and routing them based on established procedures.

-Assisting in facilitating on-the-spot solutions by providing quick over-the-phone resolutions for routine queries.

-Coordinating with and inform the Help Desk Manager of need to issue broadcasts and on calls falling outside the domain of services, unresolved issues, emergencies, etc.

-Ownership, monitoring, tracking, communication and closure of incidents

The Call Coordinator will have a stand-by Helpdesk Technicians to resolve calls on or off-site.


Qualifications:

-General knowledge of business applications or administration.

-Experience working with application and/or technical support in a helpdesk or similar environment.

-Excellent phone manners and good interpersonal skills required.

-Customer service oriented.
