Long-term staff augmentation.

Dell Hardware, XP Desktop, MS Office (especially Outlook), Altiris Deployment Server, Itil (Remedy) ticketing software.

Job Description:
Service Desk Agent on I/T Service Desk - Provides I/T support for customers with infrastructure and application technologies. Support provided via telephone, email, and web interfaces using an Incident-tracking tool. Responsible for: Maintaining ownership and processing of issues from initial contact through closure, based on written Service Level Agreements. Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of I/T support processes. Collaborating with I/T Support Partners to resolve issues and
improve procedures. Providing a first level resolution rate of 70% or greater

Technical skills essential for this assignment:
- 1-year technical diploma or 2-year technical degree or 4-year degree.
- Proven decision-making capabilities in a high-pressured environment while following written department processes and procedures.
- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills supporting a detail-oriented and ever-changing I/T environment

Pluses:
Experience using an Incident-tracking tool. (Help Desk software)

Other skills essential for this assignment:
Strong customer service skills and experience. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers using verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Positive attitude
