Healthcare Information Technology Analyst
HEALTHCARE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ANALYSTSECRI, a healthcare research and advisory organization, is seeking an individual to conduct research, compose reports on healthcare information technology to provide procurement planning assistance to hospitals.
Responsibilities will include:Gathering data on various types of departmental and enterprise-wide clinical information technology.
Interviewing users at hospitals, and generating comprehensive reports.Individual will also analyze healthcare information technology price quotations from a financial perspective and provide hospitals a resource for price negotiations.About ECRI:ECRI is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of health technology, broadly defined to encompass devices, drugs, procedures, facilities, and related standards and guidelines. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (Note: experience may be considered in lieu of degree). Other degrees related to Information Technology or a minor in related fields are acceptable. Experience in a healthcare facility preferred. Effective presentation and written communication skills. Should be able to work independently, have the ability to analyze and interpret data, and manage changing priorities for multiple simultaneous tasks.
