HW Validation Testers

The Hardware validation tester is responsible for validating Printed Circuit Boards and system level validation. Key Responsibilities include: Validate the PCB Design for high density devices (mobile devices), Knowledge of CAD design tools (schematic capture) - cadence, allegro for example. Work with PCB layout resource to ensure all requirements are met, including DFM, DFT, Signal Integrity and noise control. Documentation, including a design description and verification plan. Full verification of design in the lab. EMI, RFI, RFC, ESD testing is required. System and board level validation. 4-5 yrs exp. BS or MS in Electrical Engineering nice to have). 4+ years of experience in board and system validation and verification. MUST HAVE: Signal/Power Integrity, Debug tools: Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, USB Bus Analyzer, PCI/PCI-e BUS Analyzer, and Over the Air Protocol Analyzer. Knowledge of schematics, debugging skills. Good problem solving skills both at the board and system level for mobile devices (from small form factor devices to Laptops). Spice, spectrum analyzer, understanding on ime/Frequency domain. NICE TO HAVE: Design of electrical board with Micro-Controller, Flash memory, DAC/ADC, photodiode receivers and TEC drivers. Familiarity with the use of wireless test and lab equipments.
