HTML Integrator - Laureate

Laureate Online Education, a division of Laureate Education, develops and supports leading distance-learning universities and businesses with the ultimate goals of increasing access to postsecondary education in markets worldwide and helping students reach their highest potential.Reporting to the Director Development, Laureate Online Education, this leader is a member of the technology team for Laureate Education's Online Division. This leader will join a dynamic and talented team of applications developers, project managers and business analysts, who design, code, test, implement, and maintain business applications on our corporate intranet and public Internet web sites and on internal design platforms. Responsibilities will also include functioning as the administrator for the Content Management System (RedDot), maintaining and augmenting the current website framework. This talented leader will participate in an iterative development process, provide technical documentation for applications, and work with a customer-oriented team that makes high-quality service their number one priority.This position is one of a team of Developers within the Business Application Development Group, each focused on a key business application, and working together to deliver a superior online learning experience. The position is located in Baltimore, MD.Major Responsibilities
Content Management System Administration
Maintain and develop functionality on our public Internet Websites
Maintain and develop functionality on Corporate Intranet
Maintaining and augmenting the current website framework
Maintain accurate procedures and technical documentation
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer science or math preferred (or equivalent professional experience)2 or more years' experience programming in HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.Experience administering, supporting, and enhancing the content and operation of an online learning management system.Job Knowledge and Skills
In-depth knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and presentation issues for Mac & PC.Experience with Content Management Systems required, RedDot highly desirable.Experience with .Net, ColdFusion and ASP a plus.Familiarity using ODBC to connect to a UniData database system a plus.Distinguishing Characteristics
