Global Operations Representative

Summary:
This person will be responsible for ensuring that INTTRA provides excellent customer support by understanding the customers’ and carriers’ needs and seeking the most effective solution. Working in a team environment, the individual will ensure the daily task of managing queries as well as monitoring various corporate systems to ensure seamless processing of data through INTTRA’s systems. An understanding of EDI (electronic data interchange) standard formats is required.Duties:•Monitor production and test system email boxes for transaction and system error notifications. Resolve and/or escalate problems.
•Handle technical issues at all levels and questions from EDI trading partners.•Monitor production and test system EDI data flows•Research and troubleshoot customers and carriers EDI transaction•Monitor [Click here for email] e-mail, LiveHelp (chat service) and attend to telephone calls•Internal and external communication of EDI transaction errors•Follow up on customer registrations and carrier mapping•Address customer inquiries to resolution

REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:•Minimum 2 to 3 years professional experience, ideally having worked in a support role in an IT/Service related organisation.
•EDI knowledge (ANSI; EDIFACT)
•Knowledge of transportation/shipping industry beneficial•Excellent customer service skills
•Analytical, problem solving skills
•Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)•Fluent English,Spanish and/or Portuguese•MS Desktop Applications; Excel, Word, Outlook•Working hours will primarily be Americas (N.America and Latin American time zones) but must be willing to work flexible hours to meet shift demands.
