Job Description:This individual is directly responsible for day to day support & maintenance of the Genesys System. The person is an integral part of the IT Systems Support Team that manages the Genesys, Rockwell, and other Call Center applications & software. The individual should have excellent PC skills, excellent Telephony skills & knowledge, and UNIX programming knowledge. The person should have familiarity with: Rockwell/Aspect ACD, Rockwell/Aspect TL1 ACD programming Language & Telescripting, translation programming on other telephone switching systems, Rockwell/Aspect Enterprise Administrator and programming using the BASIC language.DUTIES
·Provide day to day support for Genesys system issues.
·Manage and maintain all related Genesys technologies: URS, T-Server, Stat Server, Configuration Server, Outbound, Solution Control Server, Infomart, and all related Databases.
·Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities. Ability to troubleshoot Genesys, network and systems problems. Ability to work with vendors such as Genesys, Verizon or Aspect to identify and solve issues affecting call center systems performance.
·Create new Routing Strategies.
·Read, interpret, and maintain Genesys Log files.
·Document all Genesys work.
·Create process and procedures for all Genesys technologies.
·Working independently on other projects as assigned.
·Reporting day to day issues and updates to the supervisor.
·Have the ability to interface with the end users and all levels of management.
·Strong interpersonal communication skills.
·On-call 24 x 7. Working on Weekends and Holidays are possible.
·Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & REQUIRED SKILLS:
·Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of Genesys related experience. Network administration skills including experience with enterprise networks comprised of TCP/IP protocols, T1's, Ethernet and ATM.Possess a high degree of technical skills to support all Call Center related technologies.
