The Washington Federal Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers currently has openings for qualified Information Assurance professionals.Projects may include security policy development, risk assessments of IT environments, network penetration testing, security reviews of operating system platforms and component software (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Novell, Oracle, SQL Server, Apache, IIS, etc.), Internet/extranet security (Firewall architecture, Web server security, VPN, web application security, etc), E-commerce security (PKI, EDI, etc), Intrusion Detection and Prevention, and CyberCrime response.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelors required, preferably within MIS or CS Masters a plus Desired certification will be CISSP, and any other IT security certifications will be helpful but not requiredEssential Requirements:
Minimum two years security experience with hands-on knowledge of network attacks, penetration testing, firewall testing and architecture, intrusion detection, enterprise-wide security related topics and security diagnostic reviews Strong technical and IT experience in operating systems and networking required Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients both to obtain and deliver sensitive information and have an interest in and ability to work effectively in a team environment Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information up to and including TOP SECRET/SCI and full life polygraph
