For instance, our ERP utilizes SAP and Siebel, with SeeBeyond ICAN/e*Gate as the integration layer for all our Supply Chain applications. And that's just one example of the dozens of upgrades and improvements currently underway.

As our Expert SAP NetWeaver Architect in the Enterprise Architecture Solutions Group, you'll be responsible for the architecture and design strategy of SAP NetWeaver technology utilized throughout Nike. You'll work with business and IT teams to plan and execute a strategy of reusable services and design. You'll also develop enterprise SAP NetWeaver architecture and design methodologies and standards and promote them to technology and business partners throughout the company. You'll be responsible for understanding, testing, providing prototypes and proof-of-concepts of SAP NetWeaver and ESA technologies and collaborating with SAP to understand roadmaps and provide feedback on products and technologies. You'll directly manage a small number of application engineers who specialize in SAP NetWeaver and Web Services development. In addition, you'll need to demonstrate a strong ability to learn new information and systems quickly, work successfully in a highly matrixed organization and forge partnerships with peers, customers and suppliers.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field


2 years' additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree


8 years' business, IT or related experience


3 years' SAP ERP, SCM, SRM or CRM experience


2 years' SAP ABAP development experience


1 year of SAP NetWeaver (Web Application Server 6.40, Enterprise Portals, or Exchange Infrastructure) is preferred


Understanding of the NetWeaver Development Platform (NetWeaver Developer Studio, NetWeaver Development Infrastructure) is preferred


Familiarity with application integration and/or messaging systems (SeeBeyond, Tibco, WebMethods, MQ,) is preferred


Experience aligning Architecture with business requirements


Experience with full system lifecycle for enterprise application development. Knowledge of RUP and UML preferred


Experience with XML, Web Services, and SOAP


Experience in Java Programming, preferably J2EE technologies


Ability to work effectively across a wide range of functions, teams and levels of management


Ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders and technologists throughout Nike


Ability to travel domestically and internationally


Strong organizational skills (multi-tasking) and a self-motivator


Proven written and verbal communication skills
