Enterprise Workflow Developer

Employment Type: Regular Full/Part Time: Full Time Division: IT Location: FIFTH THIRD CENTER, CINCINNATI, OHGeneral Function: Apply technical skills to build workflow solutions for business and technical projects of a moderate to high level of complexity. Maintain existing workflow code base and develop enhancements. Provide technology leadership in the areas of technical architecture, analysis, design, troubleshooting and the mentoring of other team members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: I. Design and potentially lead implementations for integration solutions for 5/3’s business systems using technologies including FileNet P8 and webMethods. II. Designs, programs, tests, and implements applications in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with corporate procedures and standards. III. Modifies, and debugs programs, job streams, and other machine readable material. IV. Analyzes requested changes and performs maintenance to existing applications. V. Plays a key role as an individual contributor on projects. Work as part of a project team to determine project requirements, goals, implementation VI. Develops an understanding of 5/3 Bank’s business lines and application systems. Works with other development teams across the bank to build new or enhanced banking systems. VII. Provide training and knowledge sharing with fellow team members and other development groups. Make occasional presentations to technical staff. VIII. Assure projects follow 5/3’s Project Management guidelines and meet quality standards. IX. Create Technical Specifications that can be passed to onshore and/or offshore consultants for development. Supervise such projects throughout the project life cycle and perform code reviews. X. Normally works on several projects at a time. Manages time and priorities to ensure that commitments are met and that the line of communication are flowing to the project managers and key project partners. XI. Continues developing technical expertise through e-learning & classroom training and keeps current with trends and technological innovations in the banking and IT industry. XII. Responsible for systems performance and resolution of production incidents, which may require 24hr/day and/or 7 day/week coverage XIII. Assume additional responsibilities as assigned. Job RequirementsMinimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good oral and written communication skills.
At least 5 years experience in software development.
At least 3 years development experience using webMethods.Must have advanced skills working with BPM/Workflow on FileNet, webMethods or similar platform.
Intermediate experience on FileNet Content Engine or related content management product.
Intermediate level or better Java programming expertise.
Intermediate level J2EE understanding
Intermediate to expert understanding of integration technologies (MQ, JMS, WebServices, XML, SOAP, EJB’s, etc)
Experience with Imaging preferred.
Financial Industry knowledge (optional, but desirable)
Experience gathering user requirements and translating to technical designs.
