Enterprise Tech Services Manager

Requires a seasoned Technical Services/Infrastructure Manager with extensive experience in the management of IT Support Services and Delivery

-Responsible for defining, implementing, training and maintaining the standard operating procedures for mutiple system software and middleware teams withinin the Technical Services Department

-Responsible for 24/7/365 availability, scalability and incident response for the various teams

-Must have solid experience and understanding of system and integration technologies

-Must be extremely self-motivating with a positive attitude and willing to work with application and integration teams on tactical and long-term projects
REQUIREMENTS
-At least 10+ years experience in the management of AIX, AS/400 and MVS platforms

-Solid management knowledge of distributed architectures

-Manage hardware and software installations and upgrades on multiple platforms, including IBM mainframe, UNIX, AS/400

-Provide strategic direction for infrastructure growth and standard processes while providing tactical execution

-Management, maintenance and support responsibility for multiple distributed platforms, and middleware environments for the enterprise

-Must have experience in System Standardization and must be able to motivate support groups to adhere and enforce system, change and security standards

-Requires an individual with strong Project Management skills

-Must be proficient in backup/recovery, performance tuning, deployment, problem determination/resolution

-Experience in capacity planning and monitoring in an enterprise environment

-Participation in the implementation and development of an integrated information security strategy and SOX controls

-Excellent troubleshooting skills

-Negotiation of platform SLA's and driving teams to meet them

-Any PM certifications or recognized training is preferred
