Job Summary:
The Enterprise Systems Administrator is responsible to define, implement, maintain, support, tune, and troubleshoot software and hardware infrastructure relating to Linux servers, clusters, work stations, and storage area networks.

Job Responsibilities:
1.Define, implement, maintain, support, tune, and troubleshoot software and hardware infrastructure relating to Linux servers, clusters, and workstations.

2.Configuring, securing, and replicating DHCP/DNS with ISC dhcpd and BIND named servers.

3.User account management in a LDAP and Kerberos environment.

4.Design and implementation of system monitoring software in a multi-platform environment.

5.Develop, implement, and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure storage provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals and objectives.

6.Provide efficient and reliable storage allocation and defined backup, recovery, and archival procedures.

7.Develop and implement business continuity practices for storage management.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Skills/Abilities:
1.Expertise with Linux in a SAN environment.
2.Experience in a web services environment (IIS/Apache and Oracle preferred).
3.Perl/Python/Bash scripting experience.
4.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
5.Excellent oral/written communication and organization skills.
6.Requires flexible working hours as necessary.

Job Requirements:
1.Minimum of 3 years Linux experience in an enterprise environment.
2.Minimum of 3 years experience in a storage area network environment.
3.Experience with highly available solutions / architectures.
4.Familiarity with open source tools, both using common software (compilers, tools, libraries, techniques, etc.) and building from source.
5.Hands on experience: optimizing and tuning Linux kernel (including kernel recompiles), disks (RAID and SAN) network protocols, LDAP, Kerberos, Apache, Sendmail, BIND, NFS.
6.Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT related field (or equivalent work experience).
