Enterprise Information Management Strategic Analyst

Department Description: Information Core Competency team is a newly forming group that will enable Motorola Enterprise Information Management program by providing the technical platform, operations group, and data/information architects. During 2006, Motorola will work to select and build out the EIM technical platform, staff the operations group, and actively engage our business partners to enable key business capabilities.

Responsibilities/Expectations: Supports the EIM mobilization activities that include:
1. Assess and document current state technology architectures
2. Assess current resource skill sets and develop a skills matrix
3. Develop migration roadmaps for technology solutions and resources
4. Assist in creating and delivering the overall EIM communication material
5. Assist in the continual enhancement of the detailed EIM operating model
The EIM program needs to be rolled out across business and functions throughout 2006 and 2007. This position will help communicate, educate, plan, and begin the transition of disparate groups on to the common EIM platform. Through a small EIM mobilization team, we are looking to drive for faster for effective program rollout.^^

Knowledge Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills
Must be comfortable in an interview setting when conducting current state assessments
Strong organizational skills and proactive in identifying key activities and data that needs to be captured during the mobilization effort
