Enterprise Architect

A well known company in the Atlanta area is looking for Enterprise Architects with a broad background in IT. This requires working directly with project teams and enterprise architects. The architect must evaluate the requirements developed during the discovery phase of projects and produce design deliverables that will enable project teams to build systems in keeping with the overall architecture strategy. Architects are also responsible for researching, documenting and promoting patterns that represent the established architectural goals. The architect must maintain expert knowledge of internal and external systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop effective system designs
- Work with project teams to understand business requirements and project goals.
- Produce appropriate design artifacts in support of the development life-cycle.
- Maintain design models as systems evolve.
- Drive evolution of technical architecture
- Work with solution delivery teams for design phone then step out.
- Work with project teams and discipline groups to identify appropriate architecture plans.
- Evaluate potential solutions and promote consensus among technical staff.
- Deliver appropriate design documentation representing desired changes in technical architecture.
- Define application tiers, frameworks, component types and interfaces.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred.

Broad background in Information Technology.
- No coding, no specifications.
- working with business strategies.
- Experience with large scale IT structures.
- Understands complexity of maintaining structure.
- Systems design and implementations.
- Think strategically, do selling of solutions with a technical background.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Knowledge with n-tier architecture environments.
- Knowledge of systems design methodologies, techniques and tools
- Experience implementing technical application frameworks
- Ability and desire to work with experienced IT professionals in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
