Our client is the world’s largest and most experienced brand imaging solutions provider. They create, develop, implement and measure comprehensive knowledge-based imaging solutions that enable brand-driven organizations to drive maximum value through each of their brands globally. Our client is seeking a Project Manager for their Chicago office located near O’Hare.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Manager will be expected to:

Manage the full lifecycle of software development projects. Act as primary liaison to executive level sponsorship personnel throughout the project lifecycle. Tracks and communicates project status within the organization. Provide technical support to and may lead and manage a group of software/systems developers/engineers/analysts toward project goals and completion.
**Ensure that the defined Software Development Life Cycle methodology is followed by all Project resources.
oManage all phases of application development during a project following the SDLC methodology.
oLead full life cycle project management efforts including: project planning and initiation, gathering requirements, developing specifications, resource planning, schedule creation, participation in design, testing and creation of documentation.
oEffectively track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns via status reports and communications to management.
**Design, planning and coordination of software projects.
oWork in concert with Business Sponsors and Analysts, Development Team and QC Testing Team throughout the project lifecycle.
oWork with respective Functional Managers to determine project-resource levels.
oWork with Director of Application and Development to determine project resource requirements/assignments.
oInter group coordination.
**Managing project plans, timelines and evaluating project results.
oPlanning of all software development/configuration tasks associated with the total software development/configuration effort.
oManagement of the software requirements analysis, design, code, software unit test, integration test.
oTechnical management of all software development and software test tasks associated with the software/configuration effort.
oProviding technical consultation and review as necessary.
oEnsures all project milestones, deliverables, deadlines and requirements are met.
**Working with the Quality Assurance to continually improve the System Development Life Cycle processes.
oWork in collaboration with the QC Testing Team, IT Support and IT Representatives at different stages of projects to coordinate application testing and deployment requirements.
**Working with Business Sponsors and Analysts to continually improve the design methodologies.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
**6+ years experience in full life cycle of software development.
**Possess business analyst and application design skills.
**Competent in project management theory, knowledge, skills, tools and techniques.
**Possess an average level of industry experience in software architecture design is a plus.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
