Document Management Support Analyst

This position is responsible for maintaining daily operations of corporate document management software including system administration, 2nd level desktop support, acting as a technical lead and liaison on all document management related projects between 3rd party vendors and in house technical and business project managers. Oversee vendor installs of server and client software, maintain user accounts, data files and monitoring system configurations to ensure data integrity. Conduct user training, and maintaining documentation is also included as part of the job. Responsibilities include: Administration and maintenance of 6 FileNet servers, 6 FileNet Document Libraries, 1000+ user accounts, 50+ Document classes across multiple business lines.Installation and configuration of third-party and internally-developed applications.Provide user support and problem solving to issues in either SharePoint or FileNet document management. Ensure system safety, reliability & availability. Establish and maintain response time criteria for system anomalies.Monitor computer systems performance, capacity. Integrate with other systems through data gathering, metrics reporting, trending, and assessment (including SLA compliance). Present system changes to the appropriate review boards, and assure user acceptance of changes, and test results. Document configurations and maintain configuration control. Provide user consultation and training in scanning, document preparation, index, library setup, check in , check out document control procedures, and library management. Establish OEMS technical support with the OEMS teams, and act as the coordinator for IT. Review Business requirements, document requirements, and establish data and workflow models in support of document management systems.

A bachelors degree in Computer Science or computer-related area. Hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Server environment is required. Understanding of software development lifecycle and change management process. Familiarity with SQL and basic query writing needed. Understanding of Windows system administration and security, such as file sharing and permissions, event logging, performance monitoring and disk administration a plus. Strong nnowledge of Office applications such as Word, Excel and Visio, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong knowledge of Document management systems, and search processes. Must be able to function as a team player in a large environment, and learn quickly, listen intently, and solve problems creatively. Must be able to communicate and interact with users and other IT professionals in a collaborative style.
