Director of Sales and Marketing

The Director of Marketing & Sales Support is the focal point for key marketing and sales strategies, research, materials and actions that support a decentralized sales force across 10 states. The Director should develop strong relationships with RealMed’s Account Executives and Regional Vice Presidents and should possess outstanding verbal and written communications skills. In this role, this individual will be responsible for the following:
Manage the identification and gathering of competitor information, new RealMed product opportunities/enhancements and other intelligence information
Work across all regions/teams to help identify leads databases/organizations and relevant trade groups
Drive client interest through corporate-led direct mailers, newsletter articles/copy, advertising placement, news releases
Develop proposal templates, and work with financial staff to help identify and create related value prop sales tools as needed
Assist with Customer Satisfaction program – collecting data, creating analyses, identifying trends
Assist with all sales campaigns and other related promotion & marketing projects on an ongoing basis
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years in marketing management, project management or sales/promotion environment. This individual must also have the ability to comprehend complex technical processes and convert them to cohesive sales tools and strategies. Knowledge of practice management systems, medical insurance, health care information systems and medical billing is preferred. Management of staff is required. A BS/BA degree is required. A Masters degree is a plus.
