Director of IT

Position Summary: This position is a global leadership role which includes responsibilities for all Nomacorc locations. This position directs the IT functions of the company and establishes long term strategy that globally aligns Nomacorc and the Noel Group


Reporting to this position: Project Mgr, Systems Report Writer, Contract network support and developer. Dotted line reporting responsibility for SA IT Mgr.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1.Establish multi-year global IT strategy to align with business objectives.

2.Direct disciplined project management methodologies are followed for all IT projects that produce on time and on budget completions.

3.Establish and maintain an ROI system to evaluate IT projects.

4.Establish and maintain updated documented IT processes and procedures.

5.Provide leadership to the IT staff, including providing direction, goal setting, mentoring, personal development and performance management.

6.Establish, manage and communicate the IT capital and expense budget.

7.Provide escalation point for all IT issues

8.Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all end users for all reported issues, requests and projects.

9.Coordinate with other Noel Group IT Managers on corporate IT processes, procedures and issue resolution.

10. Prioritize individual and team projects based upon overall goals and objectives.

11. Research trends and developments in IT relevant to the business needs.

12. Establish “best practices” for global IT.

13. Alignment with other departments to provide infrastructure for continued process improvements.

14. Direct all out-sourced services and develop performance criteria for service level agreements with all providers.

15. Ensure all IT projects are properly implemented, integrated, and supported.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
•4 year college degree, an advanced degree is a plus
•7-10 years of previous IT Management and Project Management experience, 5 years of global experience
