Director - Learning Market Management

Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, Lawson has offices and affiliates serving North and South America, Europe, and Africa.Job DescriptionThe Director, Market Management is a member of the Lawson Learning management team responsible for achieving quarterly/annual revenue targets. To accomplish this, the Director will develop and direct Market Managers that work through Lawson sales channels to reach key target audiences. The Director will be the senior consultant for the team ensuring that Lawson?s learning portfolio is properly promoted, appropriately packaged, priced, and presented with a strong value story to internal and client audiences. The Director will survey the client base regarding their learning requirements and communicate needs to Resource Management and Platform Development teams.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience

5 years management experience or equivalent project/program leader experience

7 years experience working with consulting and/or software services company

10 years experience in understanding business issues and translating requirements to learning solutions

Proven ability to sell and/or market training solutions to diverse audiences

Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships

Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills

Proven ability to learn and comprehend technologies and the impact on businessPreferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a related field

8 years management experience or equivalent project/program leader experience

Previous ERP software vendor experience, particularly Lawson

2 years of direct sales or marketing experience, preferably in training related field
