Database Manager - (L-3 GSICB24597)

L3 Communicatons/GSI is currently accepting resumes in support of the Global War on Terror. We are seeking a strong database manager to join our team. This position is located in IRAQ.

Requirements:

Database manager is required to support screening operations in each LEP Screening Cell.
These positions require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Individual must be a US Citizen with a Secret clearance.
This position requires work to be performed 10 hours per day, 6 days per week.

Duties:

The Database Manager will administer database organization, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation.
Will enter screening data as provided by the screening team.
Will update the information on the HCN, to include any remarks, from the interview in the locally held HCN database. Further, database manager will administer database organization, standards, controls, procedures and documentation.
Manages database development and maintenance for MNF-I intelligence analytical efforts, systems and intelligence production.
Provides oversight to information management procedures to improve intelligence flow, sharing and usability.
Reviews and provides recommendations on software and hardware modifications or changes from an information management perspective. Researches technical solutions and product specifications for intelligence systems enhancements, projects and programs to enhance MNF-I intelligence architecture, databases and information flow.
Support the interrogation operations of the Theater Interrogation Facility
Required to support screening operations in each LEP Screening Cell.
Administer database organization, standards, controls, procedures and documentation.
Experience in and excellent understanding of enterprise database structure and design, capabilities and limitations, and replication/information sharing when working in a complex operational environment.
Understanding of large network communications architectures and how they effect information sharing between enterprise database implementations
Large network implementation experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Sybase databases.
Working experience with Military Intelligence equipment and architecture
