Database Administrator III

Competencies Required:

Skills - SQL Server 2000, extensive knowledge of Transact SQL, including writing and maintaining stored procedures using T-SQL. Extensive knowledge of Open Query, DTS and linked servers as it applies to SQL Server 2000.

Hours of support 24 X 7 (primary hours Sun - Sat 7:00 - 6:00 MST)

Responsibilities - Team is small, so this individual will be expected to work independently with minimal direction. Individual must carry dual roles as a systems analysts, data analyst and sql developer, and be capable of testing their own scripts along with subsequent documentation of processes, creating views, stored procedures and DTS packages for existing application support from multiple vendor tools within Call Center Services, such as IEX, Aspect, Symposium, and Cisco IPCC; along with converting existing sp's and table structures as the application converts from IPCC 6.0 to IPCC 7.0.

Scope of Work:
Database Administrator III leads the design, configuration and implementation of the DBMS. The candidate performs capacity evaluations and plans maintenance cycles. The candidate also works with business owners to identify business needs and communicates them back to his/her team.
