Database Administration

Classification: Consulting Compensation: $35-45/hr This resource type develops strategies to enhance revenues or services, reduce costs, manage risk and assists project teams plan and estimate projects, as well as regularly consulting on complex problems requiring obscure knowledge and advanced problem solving skills. This individual may lead several teams that may cross projectboundaries, but typically will be responsible for both deliverables and projects. Project teams are typically greater than 10 people.Primary Technical Requirements:1. Good structured design and development skills in the areas of Oracle SQL, PLSQL database packages, functions, stored procedures, exception handling and batch job scheduling. An understanding of complex data transformation from multiple sources is needed.2. SQL*Loader, Oracle replication Materialized Views)3. Strong knowledge of Unix Shell scripting4. Proficiency with scheduling systems such as Autosys.5. Good understanding of Oracle 9i/10G features.6. Database Tools - ERWIN, TOAD7. Should have written technical specifications.8. Must have excellent communication skills, and be able do to multi-task9. Proficiency with Source Control Management (SCM) tools such as CVS, Clearcase.
