Job Summary: Be an Application Manager over an Enterprise wide implementation for a national health insurance company. You will be managing a Data Warehouse team of 5 Programmers and Business Analysts. Work on reporting and rebate systems with the Data Warehouse team. Serve as their mentor, team builder and conduct performance reviews. You will also interact with third party offshore vendors and work with business units. This will require very good skills to gather/define business requirements involving Data Warehousing and provide solutions to installation/delivery issues. A talented, dedicated and hard working individual is needed to manage multiple projects and keep them on target. Very good communication and people skills are needed as you will be involved in management meetings and interface with the executive level. You will also execute operational, finance and IT strategies directed by the Vice President. Having finance and forecasting/reporting experience is a big plus since you will be overseeing budget versus actual cost related to various projects that you will be handling. Qualifications: • Data warehouse application development (Teradata, Informatica, Business Objects) experience • Experience delivering large data warehousing/integration projects • Experience with offshore 3rd party vendors • Ability to gather information and solve problems • Interface skills from Executives to end users • Good people, leadership and management skills • Excellent communication skills • Good writing skills • Budgeting/forecasting and reporting experience a big plus Additional Information: This position can be located in West Hills, CA or Mason, OH.
