Data Specialist Procurement Utilization Systems (PURS)

The PURS Data Specialist will serve as a key contributor in all areas of the Spend Tracking process. The PURS Data Specialist will assist in ensuring the PURS processing is completed timely and accurately; maintaining data integrity within the system; and overseeing distributor data transmissions.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure PURS processing is completed timely and accurately; maintaining data integrity within the system; creating and maintaining file load automation processes and creating new and innovative ways to increase volume and accuracy of processingLoad vendor submissions to the PURS staging tables to be processed by the item matching groupTrack and maintain the various active distributor programsAssist in the addition of new distributors to the spend tracking systemServe as contact with Avendra buyers regarding distributor/manufacturer dataAssist with process change implementationPerform research and work on special projects, as requested
REQUIREMENTS
Role Requirements· Strong PC skills in the areas of database and spreadsheet-based applications (MS Excel, MS Access)· Knowledge of SQL a plus· Strong organizational skills· Demonstrated analytical skills· Basic PC programming skills a plus
