Data Production Analyst

Scarborough Research, the nation’s premier source for consumer insights, is looking for talented individuals to join the team at our Coral Springs, FL, Operations Center. We measure the shopping patterns, lifestyles and media habits of consumers locally, regionally and nationally. From retail outlets to home improvement stores to cellular phone preferences to travel, Scarborough measurements detail the dynamic lives of American adults.

Current openings include Data Production Analyst – this individual will work with our production group to run, develop and maintain data processing systems and support applications. This position involves primarily front-line data production duties, along with some database and end-user application development.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
·Maintain internal SQL databases, making enhancements and improvements as necessary.
·Support custom internet data collection initiatives through survey setup, participation on development team, creation of applications to capture, clean, and merge data into production stream.
·Train and assist production staff in day-to-day system updates as needed.
·Perform initial development and testing of interim data reporting system, creating end-user interface for turnover to production of ongoing products.
·Participate in new product development and planning as needed.

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
·Participate in new software and hardware planning/implementation.
·Actively participate in product planning where appropriate.
·Perform other database projects or duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
·Four-year degree or equivalent related training/practical work experience.
·Hands-on database experience required (Access, SQL, FoxPro).
·Some experience in Visual Basic (VB) programming language helpful, but not required.
·Ability to organize and prioritize projects and functions.
·Must be able to function well within a team environment.
·Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
