This position supports centralized maintenance of a single CHI item master to ensure data consistency for contract negotiations, contract compliance, value analysis, customer service operations, and performance reporting.This position is responsible for maintaining master files in the Lawson system for the Procurement suite.This position will work in conjunction with Accounts Payable to manage procurement information in the vendor master.1. Support data collection and analysis requirements for contracting decisions and supply chain savings initiatives.2. Maintain data in the Lawson system according to pre-defined standards.3. Maintain data in the Lawson system, assuring correct price for each MBO.4. Conduct ongoing maintenance of item, vendor and contract masters including adds, deletes, changes.5. Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance to data standards.6. Synchronize key data elements between GPO, supplier, and CHI including contract additions, tier level changes, contract extensions, contract cancellations, rebates, and price increases/decreases.7. Utilize pre-defined scripts to test system functionality and identify possible functional issues8. Execute reporting requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare procurement environment preferred.Detailed knowledge of clinical and non-clinical healthcare products and the ability to identify and classify these products required.Experience in Supply Chain operations strongly preferred.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.Experience with large, multi-level organizations and the ability to work in a diverse environment preferred.Strong customer service focus and commitment to the mission and vision of CHI.High School diploma required.Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration or related field would be preferred. Language Ability: Ability to clearly express oneself and to communicate with a wide variety of constituents Math Ability: Strong basic mathematical skills. Reasoning Ability: Must have experience in the completion of analyses related to product costs and projected savings resulting from product or pricing changes. Computer Skills: Must have a strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications including Excel and Access. Experience with Word and PowerPoint would be beneficial.
