Data Entry Processor

Principal duties and responsibilities: • Enter and verify insurance documents correctly and in a timely manner • Forward CPI cancellations to the appropriate person • Work extract, UTL, EDI and required change reports as needed • Work pending statements as needed • Work on-line insurance as needed • Report any Unitrac (Visual Unitrac) problems • Assist supervisor with special projects • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: • 1- 2 years of data entry experience preferred • Quota requirement expected • Insurance background preferred • Communicate in a professional manner with all levels within the organization • Ability to acknowledge and respect confidential information • Ability to read and apply commonsense understanding to simple instructions, short correspondence, oral/written instructions and memos • Ability to effectively and professionally present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations • Basic organization and filing skills; ability to learn quickly • Familiarity with Microsoft office products; the ability to type at least 45 wpm • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • High school diploma/GED
