Category: Capital Markets/OtherOverview: The Data Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for day-to-day collateral analysis of bid tapes, costing of MI and whole loan transactions. The analyst will also help implement, maintain and program the models and analytical software toolsResponsibilities: Perform collateral analysis, underwriting and costing on mortgage insurance transactions.Analyze collateral tapes, prepare collateral reviews and rep-lines for pricing and structuring purposeMaintain and implement model code, and write programs for structuring cash flow engines.Facilitate frequent data requests from internal and external customersQualifications: Bachelor's Degree.Knowledge of SAS or similar collateral analysis tool, and proficient with Excel spread sheetProficient in VBA or C++ programming, knowledge of objected oriented method and major data structure/algorithm to solve real world problemsAbility to work under considerable time pressure and to multi-taskGood analytical skills and ability to work independentlyGood interpersonal and communication skills
