Data Analyst III

This position is involved in the extraction and analysis of data for use in the development of recommendations to management for use in the improvement of current and future telecom systems (i.e. improve overall caller experience). Qualified candidates will perform analysis, forecasting, and reporting on the performance and functionality of complex Telecom systems. This role extracts data from a variety of complicated databases/systems, conducts analyses based on data trends, and summarizes and presents findings to telecom management and business areas. This position will also gather requirements and develop specifications for Telecom databases and reporting solutions utilized throughout the enterprise.
Additional requirements:
- Bachelors degree related to statistics or other analytical area, engineering, or operations research required (Graduate
level degree desired)
- Minimum 5 years experience performing complex business/statistical analysis
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in application of statistical/quantitative methods
- Leadership skills
- SQL query writing experience
- SAS experience desired
- Microsoft reporting tool (Excel, Reporting Services) desired
- Telecom experience desired
