Curriculum Developer

SunGard HTE Inc., is a leader in government information technologies, providing a broad range of innovative software solutions to nearly 2,200 government offices, agencies and utility companies throughout North America. The company's products address the wireless computing requirements of a rapidly changing public sector market and support the end-to-end delivery of e-government access to citizens. We are currently seeking a Curriculum Developer.

The individual selected for this key role will be responsible for providing written training and implementation processes and procedures. In this challenging position, you will develop, revise, and modify employee and customer courses as necessary for classroom or web-based delivery. You will also work with the appropriate teams to accomplish the following tasks: preparing training presentations and implementing materials for technology solutions, creating training supportive documentation for technology solutions, designing internal and external curriculum for technology solutions, assisting in the update of training and implementing documentation as necessary for solution upgrades, and evaluating the design and effectiveness of training materials on an on-going basis. The person selected will also mentor existing staff in the development of learning materials.
REQUIREMENTS
•Performing initial project evaluations, as well as identifying and selecting industry-related research sources to enhance projects.
•Developing an appropriate course outline and identifying agreed upon course purpose and learning objectives.
•Participating in internal meetings to evaluate course materials prior to soliciting member review and comment.
•Analyzing review team comments and proposing recommended course revisions.
•Writing course material to established criteria/guidelines.
•Correcting course materials based on student comments, as needed.


Job Requirements: The ideal candidate must have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of four years experience writing training programs, presentations, and supportive documentation. Attendee must be familiar with instructional design or curriculum and instruction techniques. Strong teamwork, problem solving, organization, flexibility, planning and communication skills are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and tools for creating training objects is essential. Familiarity with the use of web-based and computer-based training programs desired.
